I'm Making a List

... of things that I miss about Hong Kong.

1. The Escalator
2. Maxim Cafe
3. MTR
4. Island Beverly
5. Street foods
6. Staunton's
7. Sasa
8. 7-11
9. Hui Lau Shan
10. Having money (my rent has doubled)

New York City has been nothing but incredible since I came back though. I've pretty much settled into my new apartment in Murray Hill. It's a small studio on a quiet tree-lined block, and I love it to pieces.

MTA passes have gotten more expensive, but cab fares are still the same. Not that I'm complaining, but why is that? Even HK raised their cab flagdrop before I left.

I was in HK last year, and before that trip, I'd never seen an escalator that long before.

MTR wins over the MTA any day.
